A magazine created for a biannual publication, it reaches all teh Amercan continent and spreads information relative to the sector, as well as technical and scientific news. Each edition counts on a central theme that points out the fundamental aspects of Sanitary and environmental engineering and of the Association.

Desafío

The name of this title that is publihsed every three months, speaks for itself Desafío. This publication started in 1989 replacing the AIDIS bulletin. Having a more focused and more modern editiorial, it divulges information, technical studies and critics on matters relevant to sanitary and environmental engineering. Besides this, the periodical also has other finalities; to discuss the challenges each country's section faces.

Technical Newsletters

A joint publication of AIDIS/ PHO (panamerican health organization), aimed at promoting THE analysis of technical information relevant to the sanitary engineering sector and public health sector. Heir purpose is to reach decisive powers proposing solutions. Another aim is to orient national regional and international politics. The newsletters are composed of 4 series.

Special texts

With the purpose of contributing to the analysis of themes relevant to basic sanitation and the environment, besides the periodical publications, AIDIS also publishes isolated texts. Such editions include projects developed by the technical divisions on specific subjects

CEPRINT

Also deserving of support is the exchange of information between the national sections. To reach this objective a project will be adopt to guarantee the distribution of publications through the center of promotion and interchange of publications CEPRINT. This way the association will have the opportunity to contribute to the multiplication and divulgation of ideas, making this information available to whomever needs it.

CIDIS

When treated adequately, information becomes a tool that allows better use of teh available resources. With this purpose AIDIS strives to develop the Interamerican catalogue on sanitary and environmental engineering CIDIS, which will become within the American continent the most important consultation book for all professionals in the sector. This is the association's most ambitious publication. CIDIS will be kept by the sale of resources from the sale of information updated from the data bank that will be created, recompiling information on the program, companies and logistic support (opportunities for professional development etc) in the many countries in the American continent.

CIDIS will be the compass to those who whish to orient themselves on basic sanitation and the environment in the American continent.

Congress Reports

Each congress generates an abundance of discussions on problems that the sanitary and environmental sector face. This way, to document the event and consolidate its results, AIDIS also edits on offical character the reports referent to each of the meetings whose existence helps the creation of the memory of the entity. In these documents, AIDIS gathers the summary of all political and technical discussions realized in each event.
