First Communication

In Extraordinary General Assembly celebrated in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I had the honor of to be invested as the President in exercise of the Inter-American Sanitary and Environmental Engineering Association - AIDIS.
That it is why I write this brief message in order to declare my total commitment with the Institution, this united family that is AIDIS.

It wanted to transmit the climate of tranquility that breathes in these moments in AIDIS, very favorable so that all the National Chapters continue having in a niche to fortify their local associations and therefore the regional ones.

In these moments we are utilizing our better creativity to fortify the Mother Association. Thus should begin to visualize it, where each one of their children help it, leaving to one side the human miseries that some times impede us.

It could not pass for high the disaster caused by the earthquake in our sister republic of Haiti. We do support them with all our heart and through our Technical Division of Disasters (DIEDE) we are already puting all in our hands available to help.

To our AIDIS team in our permanent headquarters in Sao Paulo (Abel Wolman) represented by the Communication and Marketing Manager engineer Pamela Miranda, as by our Executive Secretary Célia Castelló, my expression of affection and thank them infinitely the solidarity shown toward AIDIS.

Finally I want to thank to engineer Carlos Rosito to have been a first line ambassador of the Institution, representing AIDIS in innumerable international forums giving it a very personalized shade and also by to have conducted the Association for more than a year.
