IIUNAM-AIDIS, Scholarship Results
Eng. Nara Luisa Andrade Reis
 The Inter-american Association of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering (AIDIS) and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) have an agreement of the
"Inter-american Scholarship of the Institute in Environmental Engineering".
In this opportunity, the Jury integrated to evaluate the requests received in time and form for opting to Inter-american Scholarship in Environmental Engineering IIUNAM-AIDIS decided unanimously of offer it to engineer Nara Luisa Andrade Reis, from Brazil, sanitary engineer (Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, Brazil) and student of mastery in environmental physics at the same University.

Fourth Latin-American Conference of Health Promotion and Health Education
Medellin, Colombia, november 4th to 7th 2009
In the last decades Latin America has crossed for a process of progressive transformation of the health system, social security and education. The role of the pharmaceutical industry, private suppliers and medical insurances has charged a growing importance coming to configure what has been called like "new market of the health". Likewise, the investments in health sector have continued being oriented mainly to the therapeutic and diagnostic assistance based on the bio-medicine in place for intervention on the structural problems as serious as the malnutrition, the homicides or the environmental contamination.
It is in this context that will develop the Fourth Latin-American Conference of Health Promotion and Education, with a call to solidarity and political responsibility for the rulers of our countries, supported in the principles of promotion of the health and equity in health. This conference is promoted for the Regional Office for Latin America of the International Union of Promotion of the Health and Education for the Health –UIPES- FRINGE- and the University of Antioquia, National Faculty of Public Health.
