New AIDIS's magazine Edition!
Biosólidos Vol.2 n°1
The Revista AIDIS de Ingeniería y Ciencias Ambientales. Investigación, desarrollo y práctica, it's a semiannual electronic publication, that publishes contributions evaluated by original peers, of quality and present time, inside its area of competence.
In this way works are presented that cover aspects related to the technological, practical and scientific knowledge as of management, inside the area of the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering in Latin America.

Inter-american days 2009
AIDIS-AmSa
 AIDIS-AmSa "Ambientes Saludables para la Vida", considers mission to contribute directly to the provision of the water, to the sanitary, to the waste management, to the improvement of the dwellings and to the protection of the ecosystems with relation to the communities. Because of it, one of its functions is the coordination of the commemorative activities of the Inter-american Days: air quality - DIAIRE; Cleaning and Citizenship - DIADESOL and water - DIAA.
The Plan of Action for the Organization, Development and Sustainability of the Special Commemorative Days: DIA A, DIADESOL and DIAIRE emphasizes that in the Statements of each date, after the enumeration of its respective principles, itself "recommended" to all the governments, city halls, organizations of base, not governmental associations, guilds, businesses of the private sector and international agencies "to take advantage of the Inter-american Days" as an opportunity to propose participatory solutions to the problems related to them and to stand out its importance for the promotion of healthy environments.

XVI National Congress on Sanitary and Environmental Engineering

The national section of Panama of the Inter-american Association of Engineering and Environmental (PANAIDIS), as a group with the School of Civil Engineering (COICI) of the Panamanian Company of Engineers and Architects (SPIA), they are organizing the XVI National Congress of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering and XI National Congress of Civil Engineering, whose motto is:
Civil and Environmental Engineering for a better life quality.

AIDIS at World Water Week 2009
Stockholm
Organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute, the World Water Week gathers experts of the entire world that, along these days they debate in the swedish capital some of the most pressing problems than suffers the water in our planet, trying not only to find solutions but also bringing to new light forms of thought before those dilemmas.
Through an assembly of seminars and workshops, the assistants to this event are centered this edition in the need that all the subjects of the planet have access to the water, formulating the bases of the one that would be an efficient politics based on the contribution among governments, authorities and members of the different communities. AIDIS was represented by its President, Eng. Carlos Alberto Rosito, who was for the third consecutive time attending this event.
